Qian LIU

Dr. Qian LIU, is a Part-Time Senior Researcher at the Urban Environments and Human Health Laboratory at the University of Hong Kong. She received her PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong and has published over twenty scholarly articles in leading urban studies  journals, including Urban Studies, Journal of Transport Geography, and Urban Policy and Research.

Her research has won the best paper award in the 14th World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR), 2016 and the Gold Award Nomination Prize in Qian Xuesen Urban Studies (Transportation) Gold Award Selection and Collection Event in 2023. She was also honored with the title of ‘Top Ten Young Urban Planner’ by the Urban Planning Society of Shenzhen, China, in 2022. Her research interests mainly focus on the impacts of urban built environment on travel behavior, urban sustainability, parking planning and management.
